We chose ARPA as our key partner to implement the business process automation side of Corticeira Amorim’s program to accelerate Digital Transformation, based on its professionalism, adaptability and challenging spirit, playing an essential role in both the delivery of new projects and skills transfer in RPA.
We are extremely pleased with ARPA ́s methodology to map & automate JAP processes, even though we know that it will always be a “work in progress”. In the first year, the numbers were surprising: 66% of the records (representing a universe of around 66,000) were executed successfully (without any human intervention) and all executions were completed according to the process mapped out, which represents an efficiency of 100%.
This process allowed us to reduce several routine and repetitive tasks – improving the morale and internal satisfaction of our employees (in addition to the fact that we can allocate them to other tasks with greater added value), having a much more assertive and rapid control of failures of the operation process and comply with tax requirements – requirements that we were unable to meet manually. In fact, in the first year, we managed to “save” around 7,500 hours in human resources and more than €59,000 in FTE.
